My Vision
When I was teaching full-time at Tabb Middle School, a student stopped at my door on the last day before summer break and said:
“You know, you really ARE your name. You were tough but always fair. Always! We all knew it. Get it? Mrs. FAIRman!”
I still live by that principle, and my FAIRman Plan for our York County schools is based on it:
Fiscal Responsibility – Wise and careful use of your tax dollars to ensure student success and classroom support.
Academic Excellence & Discipline – Focus on core subjects & electives for student success in school and in life while ensuring a safe learning environment for all.
Integrity & Transparency – Offer Town Hall meetings and newsletters to keep parents, teachers, staff, and citizens fully informed.
Respect– Parents & Students, Teachers & Staff, Taxpayers, and the Law must be respected not only by elected officials but, also, by school administration.
