  • School Improvement Team that led Tabb MS to win national School to Watch award
  • Certified Secondary Teacher since 1982 graduation from Univ. of Florida
  • 40+ years experienced teacher in public, private, & home schools in Florida, Texas, Virginia, & DoDDS in England; Private Tutor for K-12 & college levels
  • Nominated for Teacher of the Year several times
  • Graduate courses in US Constitution, Education Professional Development, Education systems
  • 2003 Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholar w/ graduate credit studying education systems in Japan

Lynda Fairman has been a teacher for over 40 years, including 20 years with York County Public Schools. The wife of a U.S. Air Force veteran, Lynda is the mother of one and grandmother of three. A York County District 5 resident for 25 years, Lynda is an active community leader and volunteer. Lynda is a member and ministry leader at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Yorktown.
