During a week dedicated to introducing BMES students to various businesses and careers, one special group among the visitors was the F-22 Demonstration Team from Langley AFB. My
great-nephew, Drew Lightner, who is part of this prestigious team, joined me for a photo in the BMES lobby, accompanied by staff from the School Board Office. It was a rewarding experience to see the students’ enthusiasm as they interacted with the different professionals who had come to share their expertise.
That same day, I also had the pleasure of visiting Tabb Elementary and Mount Vernon Elementary schools.
